I saw the most heartbreaking thing tonight at our last highschool football game of the year. Senior boys, coming off the field for the last time. They longed to stay, I'm sure. It hit me that if you don't get a scholarship, that's how you feel. Even if you do, there's always that last time do be walking away from your passion. What am I going to do when I walk off those tennis courts?
I am noticing the pattern of the end of old things and the begining of new. As someone who doesn't handle change well, that's scary. I'm preparing myself for that ultimate change soon enough.

YES! I was thinking about all the seniors in the marching band! How they'll never play at a highschool football game again and how when I'm a senior I'll have to go through that too! We were thinking the same thing just about a different group of people!
